In the late 1990s, Mercedes-Benz introduced the CLK series as a stylish coupé and cabriolet, built on the platform of the C-Class but with the presence and luxury of the E-Class. The CLK Cabriolet was Mercedes’ answer to the demand for elegant, comfortable four-seater convertibles.
This 1999 example comes from the first generation (A208) and represents the very best Mercedes had to offer in this segment at the time. With its timeless lines, classic proportions, and distinctive details, it remains an impressive car to this day.
The Sportline version gave the CLK a more dynamic look and refined driving characteristics—without compromising on comfort.
